Mr Ma has been the CEO of NWS Holdings Limited since January 2019. His portfolio covers a wide range of infrastructure and financial services including toll roads, construction, aircraft leasing, life insurance and logistics.
Mr Ma joined the Government of the HKSAR in January 2014 as the Under Secretary for Development and was subsequently appointed as the Secretary for Development in February 2017. He led the new initiatives in boosting the land supply including Tung Chung Reclamation, Kwu Tung North and Hung Shui Kiu New Developments. Before that, he was the Executive Vice-President for Civil and Infrastructure Business (Asia Pacific) of AECOM Asia Company Limited.
He is a Vice President of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, Chairman of Real Estate & Infrastructure Committee, Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce and a fellow member of a number of professional bodies.
